Intravesical Medications
Intravesical Medications (instillations) are placed directly into the bladder via a small catheter. Their aim is to coat the defective IC/PBS bladder wall.
Cystistat® - A bladder instillation working to restore the defective bladder lining.
Gepan® instill – Effective GAG replenishment.
Uracyst® - Replenishes the bladder with a protective coating.
iAluRil® – High concentration, combination GAG replacement therapy.
Hyacyst® - Temporarily replaces hyaluronic acid and protects the baldder wall.
DMSO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide) - A bladder instillation that is believed to work as an anti-inflammatory agent, therefore reducing the pain.
