Intravesical Medications

Intravesical Medications (instillations) are placed directly into the bladder via a small catheter. Their aim is to coat the defective IC/PBS bladder wall.

Cystistat® – A bladder instillation working to restore the defective bladder lining.

Gepan® instill – Effective GAG replenishment.

Uracyst® – Replenishes the bladder with a protective coating.  

iAluRil® – High concentration, combination GAG replacement therapy.

Hyacyst® – Temporarily replaces hyaluronic acid and protects the baldder wall.

DMSO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide) – A bladder instillation that is believed to work as an anti-inflammatory agent, therefore reducing the pain. 

Cystilieve™ -A Lidocaine and bi-carb based instillation for the relief of PBS.

Parsons Solutions –  is a high dose heparin and lidocaine combination instillation therapy in a single easy to use vial for the possible immediate relief of pain associated with IC/PBS.”
