Designed for members who are being admitted into hospital and may be cared for by staff who have little or no knowledge of Interstitial Cystitis.
The card is similar in size to the ‘Can’t Wait’ cards and is laminated for durability. It explains what IC is, how you may need to frequently go to
the toilet and what should be done if you are confined to bed.

A card in English is provided free to each new member of The COB Foundation on joining. For those travelling abroad, additional cards may be obtained in the following languages: French, German, Danish, Swedish, Japanese, Spanish, Dutch and Italian.

Sex, Cystitis and Overactive Bladder
This in-depth fact sheet looks at the different problems that can occur in intimate relationships, when one of the partners suffers from interstitial cystitis, bacterial cystitis or overactive bladder, and includes advice on improving this aspect of a relationship.
Nutrition Helpline
A telephone helpline is available to those members of The Foundation, suffering from interstitial cystits. It is an individual way of offering confidential help and support on the subjects of nutrition, diet, detection of trigger foods, plus advice on vitamin, mineral and herbal supplements.
It is run by Pamela Jones, who has experience with IC sufferers, and available at a cost of £7 per 15 minutes, to include the cost of the call. If you are interested, please order the short Nutritional Assessment form to fill in and return to Pamela Jones with the fee. She will then make contact with you by telephone

The IC Friendly Recipe Book
The IC Friendly Cook Book was produced by the Charity, compiled from recipes tried and tested by sufferers of interstitial cystitis. It contains over 80 IC-friendly recipes on 64 pages, with sections on meat, vegetarian, fish, desserts and cakes.

Personalised COB Foundation pin badges and cufflinks are available. The badges come either in the form of brooch fitting, butterfly clip or stick pin. There is a suggested minimum donation of £1.00 per item. (So cufflinks would be £2.00 per pair!)
