Membership
As a member of The COB Foundation you will be helping to raise awareness of all forms of cystitis and overactive bladder, not only for sufferers, but also their families and friends.
As a member you will receive:
- Magazine - a quarterly magazine is sent out to all members. Features include medical articles by leading Urologists, and other healthcare professionals, news of local meetings, member's experiences and self-help ideas. Members are encouraged to write in on anything related to all forms of cystitis and overactive bladder.
- Membership and Can't Wait card - All members will receive a 'Can't Wait' card that can be used in crowded public toilets, shops etc. This is a great reassurance to many members who suffer from urgency, as this can be overwhelming and very painful.
- Local Co-ordinators – You will have contact with a local co-ordinator, (or other group members where appropriate). This means that there will always be someone to talk or write to. This will enable you to share information and ideas with other sufferers.
- Library Service - We operate a library service for members, and hold several resources relating to all forms of cystitis and overactive bladder. These include information on treatment, diet, self-help and natural remedies. We have several books and videos to select from. See our resources page for more information..
- Fact-sheets - A range of in-depth fact-sheets and transcripts are available. The first 6 are free and thereafter there is a charge of 20p per fact-sheet.
- Annual subscription for UK members is £10.00 unwaged or £20.00 waged. For all others outside the United Kingdom the annual subscription is £25.00 unwaged or £25.00 waged.
