- TENS unit - This device, worn externally, relieves bladder pain in some people.
- Surgery - This includes bladder augmentation and urinary diversion
- PTNS (Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation) - A treatment for Urge Incontinence which can help some IC sufferers
- Neurostimulation - The use of small electrical stimuli to change the level of bladder symptoms.
- Intermittent Self-Catheterisation (ISC) - This is a method of emptying the bladder using a catheter when an individual is not able to either fully empty their bladder or is unable to start urine flow.
