Intravesical Medications
Intravesical Medications are placed directly into the bladder and are known as instills.
Cystistat® A bladder instillation working to restore the defective bladder lining.
Gepan® instill – Effective GAG replenishment.
Uracyst® - Replenishes the bladder with a protective coating.
Bladder Distension - TThe bladder is stretched by filling it with water under a general anaesthetic.
DMSO(Dimethyl Sulfoxide) - This medication is instilled directly into the bladder and is believed to work as an anti-inflammatory agent, therefore reducing the pain.
