Interstitial Cystitis and Painful Bladder Syndrome Treatments

The treatments break down into three general areas:   Oral Medications

                                                                                 Other Treatments  
Treatments for Interstitial Cystitis are generally used to control symptoms, as there is still no agreement on the cause of the condition. Each of the specific symptoms that sufferers experience should be treated, and it should be noted that some of the treatments may act on more than one symptom.

Not every treatment will work for every individual, and this list is by no means exhaustive.
